Ryan William Griffith

Ryan William Griffith, 38, of Maceo, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born November 21, 1978 in Camden, N.J. He was a Union Glazer and a U. S. Army and Air Force veteran having served in Operation Freedom. He was trained as a combat medic and was an honor graduate from Quartermaster School. He loved being outside and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Ryan was a devout Christian and was a voratious reader. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Eugene Ryan and his uncle Will Ryan.

Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Nicole Griffith, his parents, William and Merry Griffith of Paulsboro, N.J., mother and father-in-law, Stephen and Sandy Coleman of Nashville, TN, grandmother, Sarah Trogden of Maceo, a half-sister, Angela (Griffith) Hobbs of Connecticut, brothers-in-law, Chris, Andy, and Chad Roby, and sisters-in-law, Amanda Rice, Kim Roby, and Sarah Caraballo.

Graveside services will be Noon Friday, January 20, at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Chapel.
