Ruth M. Teasley

Ruth Roberts Teasley, 78, passed away at Harborside Healthcare on October 2, 2007, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Daviess County to the late Ernest and Florence ( Lanham ) Roberts on November 13, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Bugs Teasley in 1990, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Teasley in 1977. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church, and enjoyed bowling and gardening. Throughout the years she held multiple jobs including General Electric Co. on Ninth Street, S.S. Kressge, Bi-Low stores of downtown Owensboro, and private childcare.

Surviving are her sons and daughter and spouses; David and Sue Teasley of Walton, Kentucky, Steve and Theresa Teasley of Owenboro, Debbie and David Ford of Owensboro; a brother, Paul Roberts of Orlando, Florida, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Kidney Foundation.
