Ruth Saunders Roberts

Ruth Saunders Roberts, 85, of 2501 E. Cloverdale Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Leisure Years Nursing Home. She was born in Hancock Co., Ky. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed bingo and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James T. Roberts in 1956, her 2nd husband, William Yates in 1978, and her last husband, Charles Roberts in 1986.
She is survived by her son and his wife, James E. & Judy Roberts, Sr. of Hartford, Ky., four grandchildren, Virginia Crouch, James E. Roberts, Jr., Bobby Roberts, and Glenita Roberts, all of Hartford, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
