Ruth Huff

Ruth Huff, 71, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Signature Healthcare Hillcrest. Mrs. Huff was born in Daviess County, a daughter of the late Walter E. and Martine Carrico Barnett. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and had worked at Woolco and the Family Dollar Store. She lived a contented life, focused on her family. She was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband, Rex. D. Huff.

Mrs. Huff is survived by her children, Edsel Huff and his wife Renee of Reynolds Station; her daughters Bonnie Miller of Fordsville, Pam Tooley and her husband Mike , Sherry Sowders, and Suzy Madewell and her husband David, all of Owensboro; her sisters Donna Favors and Pat Hayden and her husband Sonny, both of Owensboro; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass for Mrs. Huff will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, followed by burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Messages of condolence may be placed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
