Ruth I. Critchfield

Ruth Critchfield, 105, of Owensboro, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born in Duncan, West Virginia.

Ruth was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She was a fabulous cook who enjoyed quilting and spending time with family. She will be fondly remembered by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Critchfield in 1990; a son, Lanny Critchfield;a grandson, Mark Price Critchfield; and five siblings.

Ruth is survived by sons, Don Critchfield (Geneva) of Owensboro and Edwin D. Critchfield (June) of Jackson, TN; a daughter-in-law, Linda Critchfield of Columbus, OH; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 12 Noon Wednesday, December 31 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may visit after 10 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
