Rudolph Reeder

Rudolph "Rudy" Reeder, 80, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1933 in Warren Co., KY to the late Seafus Riley and Etta Murphy Reeder. He was retired from the Whirlpool Corp after 20 years and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Rudy was a disabled American veteran and a member of Am Vets Post 75. He was an avid golfer and member of Panther Creek Golf Course where he holds the record for Holes-In-One with six. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Myrl Smith Reeder on October 28, 1981 and his 2nd wife, Betty Pauline Bowles Reeder on August 21, 2011.

Surviving are his daughter, Suzanne Burch and husband Daniel of Hamilton, OH, two sons, Jonah Courlione and wife Alita of Evansville, IN and Eric Reeder and wife Erin of Owensboro, and two grandchildren, Leah Frances Burch of Hamilton and Cruz Riley Effinger of Evansville.

Private services will be held at a later time. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
