Rubye M. Stowers
November 23, 1917 — February 21, 2002
Rubye Stowers, 84, of Owensboro, died Thursday, February 21, 2002 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Lawton, OK on November 23, 1917 she was the daughter of Marion and Mary Ann Tinkle Stephens.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Herbert L. Stowers; two sons, Johnny Stowers of Kerrville, TX and Gerald Stowers of San Antonio; a daughter, Deana Hoffman of Springfield, VA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
