Ruby Sutherlin Ping York

Ruby Sutherlin Ping York, 74, of Livermore, died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at her home. The Daviess County native was a homemaker. She was of the baptist faith and volunteered in the Head Start program at Seven Hills Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth M. Ping in 1958 and Ervin York in 1994.

She is survived by a son, Edward L. York of Livermore; four daughters, Karen Ping Hern of Sandlake, MI, Audrey Ping Hood of Owensboro, Lisa York Moore of Beech Grove, KY, and Teresa York Case of Central City; 13 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Monday, April 1, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Sunday and after 9 A.M. on Monday.
