Ruby E. Worth

Ruby Earnistine Carter Worth, 76, passed away peacefully June 11, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born on June 22, 1936 to the late Jasper and Myrtle Francis Carter, she was also preceded in death by her four children; Sharon Welch Griffith, James Welch, Scott Welch, and Norma Welch.

Ruby worked and retired from OMHS in 1999. She was married to Herbert Worth in 1988. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was funny and spunky and always energetic.

Surviving is her husband, Herbert Worth, her grandchildren, Stephanie Aull (Derrick), Lisa Taylor (Keith), and Steven Haynes, all of Owensboro.

Graveside services will be 12:30 PM Friday at Utica Cemetery with Mark Poiles officiating . Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
