Ruby Ann Wahler

Ruby Ann Johnson Wahler, 90, of 1801 S. Chesterfield Dr., Owensboro, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the Hermitage Nursing Home. The St. Lawrence native was a member of the St Stephen Cathedral and was a retired hairdresser and had worked in retail sales at a local dress shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tilman Wahler in 1985.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Richard Gerald Alvey of Winchester, KY; two sisters, Anna Jean Bender of Owensboro and Mary Catherine Thompson of Ohio; a brother, Paul Johnson of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Thursday, May 1, 2003 at the St Stephen Cathedral with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. on Thursday. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 6 P.M. on Wednesday.
