Ruby L. Sparks Mills

Ruby Sparks Mills, 84, 0f 3906 South Hampton Road, Philpot, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at her home. She was born a native of Daviess County to the late Ruben and Louisa Jones Sparks. She was a member of South Hampton Baptist Church, and formerly worked in the meat department at Charlies Key Market.

A son Bobby Mills preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by her husband of 66years, James Leonard Mills, a daughter, Doris Lambrich and husband Jerry, and a daughter in law, Judy Mills, all of Philpot, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and after 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
