Ruby Lee Estes

Ruby Lee Estes, 86, of Owensboro died on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Owensboro to the late Sid and Flora Clark.

Mrs. Estes was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Catholic Church where she taught children's religious education classes.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 65 years, Eugene H. Estes; a daughter, Charlote Carroll (Bill) of Bardstown, KY; sons, Steve Estes (Brenda) of Atlanta, GA and David Estes (Julie) of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Katie Spedale, Kellie Ann Estes, Mary Clay Estes, Lucy Estes, Ellie Estes, Anna Grace Estes, David Carroll and Alan Carroll; brother, Sid Clark; sister, Jean Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon on Wednesday, July 10 at Immaculate Catholic Church. Fr. Tony Jones will officiate. Interment will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemtery. Friends may visit after 10 AM on Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
