Ruby G. Canary

Ruby Canary, 77, of Hartford died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born January 3, 1929 to the late Martin and Frances Delaney Canary, Miss Canary was retired from General Electric and was a member of the Hartford United Methodist Church. Her greatest joy was caring for her family, especially her special babies. Miss Canary was preceded in death by sisters, Rene Wilson and Martha Parker, and a brother Dalton Canary.

She is survived by a sister, Sue Chamberlin of Owensboro; nieces and nephews, Marty Canary of Owensboro, Rudy Clark of Louisville, Connie Cornelius of Lewisport, David Wilson of Owensboro, Debbie Feeney of Erie, PA, and Nisha Lane of Whitesville; and her special babies, Kalaha, Alex, Aidan, and Jackie.

Services are 2 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. Tuesday and after 11 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American cancer Society.
