Rozella Jones Boyken

Rozella Jones Boyken, 76, of Owensboro passed away September 7, 2017. She was born September 16, 1940 in Daviess County to the late Joseph Frederick and Willie Lee Cook Jones. Rozella was retired from Ragu after 20 plus years of service.
Rozella loved to shop for jewelry and clothing, but most of all she loved being a wife, mother, and sister to her family, who she cared for very much.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glendle Lee Boyken; daughter, Rhonda Gail Smith; grandson, Joshua Anthony Tolson; granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Mayfield; sisters, Laura Jones Martin and Louise Weible; and brothers, Joe Billy, Bobby, Truman, and Jimmy Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Doris Ann Mayfield (Ernest), and Rose Marie Rich (Rodger); grandchildren, Taleah Rose Tolson, Jarrod Anthony Tolson, Krystal Dawn Mayfield, Gary Wayne Mayfield Jr., Christopher Dale Mayfield, Kevin Michael Smith, Corey Shane Smith, Randy Michelle Ashton; many great grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Marie Jones and Joyce Ann Wilhoyte; brother, Michael Wayne Jones; and her special friend Harold Conder.
Services will be 3pm Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Brushy Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 till 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
