Roy Earl Moseley

Roy E. Moseley, 63, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 at his home. Born in Daviess County on February 12, 1944, Mr. Moseley was the son of the late Herman and Sally Rhineberger Moseley; was a heavy equipment operator who had worked for Charles Gaddis and Sons and Frey Brothers; was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Church; and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family and doing for others.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Cooney Moseley; sons, Wayne ( and his companion Paula Harrington) Moseley and William (and Jenifer) Moseley; grandchildren, Kevin Moseley, Brandy Moseley, James Moseley, Tyler Moseley, Kameryn Aldridge, Shelby Greenlee, and Bailey Greenlee; a sister, Shirley Stewart of Calhoun; and his father-in-law, R.C. Cooney of Owensboro.

Services are 2 P.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Sue Gaddis officiating followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 P.M. on Sunday and after 9 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
