Roy Blain Mcduffee

Roy "RB" McDuffee, 65, of Washington, IN, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Legend's Village in Washington. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Owensboro, attended Washington Community Schools and was a graduate of Murray State University with a BS Degree in Business, and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He started his career at Marathon Oil Company in Evansville and in 1972 joined the Cardinal Federal Bank in Owensboro, and after several mergers he retired from the US Bank as Senior Vice-President and Manager of the Mortgage & Loan Department. During his time in the banking business, RB was a member of the West Central Kentucky Mortgage Bankers Association of Owensboro, the Home Builders Association of Owensboro, and a past associated member of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Byron and Opal Blain McDuffee.

Leaving behind to mourn his passing, but celebrating his life, is his wife, Peggy Dillon McDuffee of Washington; a daughter, Stephanie & Robert Hodskins of Brentwood, TN; a son, Adam and Lexie McDuffee of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Lauren Hodskins, Logan Hodskins, Zachary Hodskins, Dylan McDuffee, Alexa McDuffee, and Landon McDuffee; a sister, Joyce and Sam Gee of Washington, IN.

A celebration of RB's life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with entombment in Sugarland Memory Gardens at a later date. Friends and family may offer their condolences to the family from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
