Roy Jasper Fox

Roy Jasper Fox, 70, of 4924 Meadowland Drive, Owensboro, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mr. Fox was born in Crittendon County, Kentucky on August 25, 1937 to the late Jasper and Edna Fox. He retired from Alcan Aluminum in 1995 after 22 years as a supervisor. He was a big U.K. basketball fan and enjoyed NASCAR, and western movies. He loved gardening, and was a fan and supporter of Kentucky Wesleyan more than 15 years, and an All American Club member. He was co-owner along with his wife of Fox Creations Inc. for 13 years.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Hollis Gene Fox and a sister, Jean Tabor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Mona Fox, a son Jeff (Geri) Fox of Owensboro, a daughter Tina (Russell) Brewer of Madisonville, and daughter Theresa Meadors of Marion, KY., a step-son, Tommy Basham (Tammy) of Owensboro, and step-daughter Tammy Brown and companion Jimmy Horn of Owensboro, 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, a brother, Tommy (Barb) Fox of St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home, and visitation will be Thursday, from 2 to 8 p.m. with Masonic Rites at 6 p.m.that evening, and after 9 a.m. Friday. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, and his soul and spirit will be with the Lord.
