Roy Franklin Bell

Roy Franklin Bell, 86, of 1400 West First Street, Owensboro, died June 22, 2009 at his home. He was born February 5, 1923 in Daviess County to the late Henry and Maggie (Head) Bell. He retired from Glenmore Distillery, and also had worked at Daviess County Hospital. He was active in Pop Warner Football, and Little League Baseball. His sister Virginia Bollinger and a brother Herbert Bell also preceded him in death.
Surviving is a sister; Beatrice Clauson of Minneapolis, MN., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held in Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens, at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 with burial in the Garden of Honor. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home.
