Roy S. Anderson

Roy Shultz Anderson, 89, of 6294 Old Highway 54, Philpot, passed away August 9, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky to the late Samuel & Bessie Howard Anderson. He was a member of Dawson Baptist Church, a 4 year Army veteran of World War II, and enjoyed working on & repairing equipment. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Hugh, Carl, & Elmer Anderson.

Surviving is his sister, Melba Hagman of Owensboro, and two brothers, John E. Anderson of Philpot, and William (Billy) Anderson of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 12, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
