Rosina Payne Clark

Rosina Payne Clark, 77, of Owensboro died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Owensboro Medical Health System of injuries sustained in a fall. Born December 6, 1927 in Daviess County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Lucian Arthur and Lucien M. Johnson Payne. She was a homemaker and member of the Immaculate Catholic Church. She had worked at G.E. from 1945 to 1964. She had volunteered with the Shively Ball Park Concession Stand and the Owensboro Youth Hockey League, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Braden Peercy, a sister, Geneva Pate, and three brothers, W.A. Payne, Joe Payne, and Jerry Payne.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William L. Bill Clark, a son, David (and his wife Shannon) Clark of Owensboro; two daughters, Donna OFlynn and Kay (and her husband Randy) Peercy; eight grandchildren, Todd OFlynn, Amanda Clark, Jennifer OFlynn, Hadley Clark, Andrew OFlynn, Will OFlynn, Jeff Peercy, and Jeremy Peercy; two great-grandchildren, Blake Peercy and Trayson Peercy; three brothers, Eddie (and Janet) Payne, Roland (and Sue) Payne, and Robert (and Patsy) Payne; four sisters, Willa Mae (and Harry) Roberts, Mary Jane (and Charlie) Young, Alice (and Louis) Weise, and Gretta Van Bussum; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Monday, April 25, 2005 at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 1-8 P.M. on Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. on Monday. Prayers will be at 6 P.M. on Sunday.
