Roselie B. Brady

Roselie Brady, 81, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born May 24, 1924 in New Jersey, she attended St Barnabas School of Nursing and in 1951 moved to Owensboro with her husband. Mrs. Brady was a member of St Stephen Cathedral; volunteered at St Stephen as well as Immaculate Catholic Church; and was a Charter member of Hospice; on the Habitat Board; in the Society of Professional Engineers Auxiliary; and, as a breast cancer survivor, was active in the Life Spring Cancer Support Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Brady in 1987 and a son, Joseph Patrick Brady in 2005.

Survivors include daughters, Teresa and her husband Joey McKinley of Owensboro, and Patricia and her husband Jerry Devins of Louisville; sons, Thomas B. Brady of Frisco, TX and Edward and his wife Linda Brady of Paris, KY; grandchildren, Brooke, Brady, and Joseph McKinley, Wendy, Johnna, Eric, and Mary Teresa Devins, Sydney and Foster Brady, and Justin and his wife Jennifer White; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson and Jaxen White.

Services are 2 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2006 at St. Stephen Cathedral officiated by Father John Vaughan followed by entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday and after noon on Friday. Prayers will be at 6 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
