Rose Ann Bennett Arnold

Rose Ann Bennett Arnold, 73, of Owensboro, died Monday, December 16, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Daviess County to the late Roy Lee and Ella Delores Carroll Bennett, was a member of Utica Baptist Church, and was treasurer of the Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance. She was the co-owner with her husband, James, of Arnold Jeweler, was an active member of the Owensboro Area Doll Club and she loved UK basketball. Rose Ann was preceded in death by her son, James (Ted) Arnold, III.

Survivors include her husband, James T. Arnold, Jr; children, Virginia "Gina" Ruth Raley and her husband Boo and Christopher Carroll Arnold and his wife Barb all of Owensboro; brother, Jerry L. Bennett and his wife Joyce of Utica; grandchildren, April Toomey, Krystal Paradissis, Nikki Holinde, Logan Peay, Candis Arnold and Joshua O. Arnold; 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Noon on Thursday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Owensboro Humane Society.
