Rondell Ray ''WooWoo'' Goins, 69, of 403 Catalina Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Bon Harbor Nursing Home. The Daviess County native was born to the late William H. and Edna (King) Goins, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired muledriver from N.S.A., and attended Seven Hills Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his yard and growing flowers. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Jr. Goins.
Mr. Goins is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pearl Midkiff Goins, and three daughters, Debbie Hayden of Philpot, Rhonda Wilson of Owensboro, and Jeanette Goins of Indianapolis, IN., three brothers, Marshall and Darrell Goins , both of Owensobo, and Matthew Goins of Ft. Myers, FL., four grandchildren, James and Allison Hayden of Philpot, and Erica and Avery Wilson, of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T.A. Prickett officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday unitl 8 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Children's Cancer Society
