Ronald Irvin Waugh, 66, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday July 29, 2010 at his home with his family at his side. He was born on August 29, 1943 in Charleston, W. Va. to the late Vernon and Nellie Brubaker Waugh. He was retired from Wells Fargo Insurance Services as Vice President of Transportation. He attended Christ Community Church and had great faith in God. He was a nine year U. S. Air Force veteran having served as a presidential courier during the Vietnam War era. He was a member of the Millersville Masonic Lodge in Indianapolis, IN and enjoyed spending time sharing with his family, golfing, watching baseball, boating, fishing, hunting, and working with children. Ronald's stated goal in life was to try to "make a difference" in those he met through personal and business relationships. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Robert Waugh.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Priscilla Richardson Waugh, two daughters, Jennifer L. Landrigan and husband Andrew of Ft. Wayne, IN and Pamela C. Wise and husband Michael of Indianapolis, IN, a stepdaughter, Melissa Marsh Trogolo and husband John of Owensboro, 10 grandchildren, Luke, Kathleen, Caroline, Theodore, Mary Catherine, and Claire Landrigan, all of Ft. Wayne, Mikela and Caleb Wise, both of Indianapolis, Blaise and Kelsey Trogolo, both of Owensboro, and a brother, Gregory Waugh and wife Jackie of Lake Placid, FL.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 3, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with military honors. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
