Ronald "Bubba" Thompson

Ronald S. "Bubba" Thompson, 37, of Calhoun, passed away May 1, 2016 at home. Born October 4, 1978 to the late Ronald D. Thompson and Patricia Thompson, Bubba was a graduate of McLean Co. High School. After high school he went on to work at Gibbs Die Casting for a faithful 13 years. In the midst of his working career, he also enjoyed working in the tobacco fields. Bubba enjoyed fishing and was always smiling. He was a person with a good sense of humor and could make anyone smile.
He is survived by his daughter, Astaria Thompson and her sister, Jabria Wilson; mother, Patricia Wayne Thompson; sisters, Rhonda Baggett, Stephanie Mackey, Wendy Demoss, LeHee Anne Coffin; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
