Ronald L. Nicolas

Ronald L. Nicolas Sr., age 70, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. He was born on September 9, 1941 in Louisville Kentucky.
Ronald is preceded in death by his loving mother; Margie Nicolas, a brother; Kenny Nicolas and a granddaughter, Holly Nicolas.
He leaves behind three children; Ronald L Nicolas Jr., Melissa (Bryan) Jackson of Lewisport, KY, and William "Blondie" (Angie) Nicolas of Stanley, KY. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren; Ashley Allen, Jacob Livers, Aeriel Nicolas, Joseph Nicolas, Hailey Nicolas, Daisy Nicolas, and Hunter Nicolas and two great- grandchildren; Ella Hughes and Sterling Miller.
Ronald moved his family to Owensboro in 1982. He enjoyed bluegrass music, playing the banjo, guitar and the fiddle. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Private interment will take place at Hensley Cemetery at the family's convenience. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Tuesday, August 21st at the funeral home and after 12:00PM on Wednesday.
