Ronald E. Midkiff

Ronald E. Midkiff, 61, of 901 Isaac Shelby Drive, Owensboro, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Whitesville to the late James and Mary Louise Midkiff. He attended Owensboro Business College.He was employed by Swedish Match North America, and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and a Vietnam Veteran. He loved turkey and deer hunting, fishing, and oil painting and sketching. He was a Nascar racing fan and a U.K. fan. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen and Benny.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 16 years, Melinda S. Midkiff, three sons, Joshua, Jeremy, and Kyle, and two daughters, Rhonda Midkiff and Nikki Fulkerson and husband Rick, grandchildren, Kyana and Kygun Fulkerson, Corey and Cody Midkiff , brothers Doug Midkiff and Rick Midkiff and wife Debbie, his grandmother, Edith Louise Berry, several uncles, nephews, nieces.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
