Ronald E. Long, 77, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006 at his home. Born November 30, 1928 in Syracuse, NY, he was retired from General Electric where he was a Manager in Finance. He was of the Methodist faith and loved reading, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanne Poullott Long; daughters, Debbie and her husband Ben Hill of Owensboro and Barbra and her husband Dru Ross of Bowling Green; and grandchildren, Ben Hill Jr. of Owensboro and Matthew Ross and Michael Ross of Bowling Green.
Services are private with entombment at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
