Ronald Joseph Paul Laiche

Ronald Joseph Paul Laiche, 62, of 618 East 22nd Street, Owensboro, formerly of Gramercy, LA died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Louisiana, a son of the late Robert W. and Ella Rita Oubre Laiche, he was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. After graduating from Lutcher High School in Lutcher, LA, he attended college and then served in Viet Nam as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Laiche had been a mechanic and a locksmith.

Survivors include his step children, Donald Wigginton, Jr. of Chalmette, LA, Wilfert (Pauline) Wigginton , Karen Shannon and her boyfriend Arthur Vercher and Randy Wigginton, Sr., all of Owensboro; his step-grandchildren, Michael Bouffanie, Bonnie Bouffanie, R.J. Wigginton, Jr. and Jenna Laboy, all of Owensboro; his sisters and brothers, Rita Ann (Bernard) Cambre, Robert Laiche, , Donald (Phan) Laiche, and Glenn (Deborah) Laiche, all of Gramercy, LA, and Catherine (John) Rhodes of El Dorado, AK.

A funeral mass, officiated by the Rev. John Meredith, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Interment will be in Louisiana. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
