Ronald D. Harrison

Ronald D. Harrison, 83, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, May 05, 2010, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born July 16, 1926 to the late Herschel and Hazel Allen Harrison in Calvin, IL. He was retired from Kinder Morgan and was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran of WW II and served in the 10th Mountain Division. He enjoyed working with his hands, was a mechanic, and enjoyed being with his granddaughter and his cat (Spooky).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy on November 2, 2002, his two brothers, Don Harrison in 1967 and Lloyd Harrison in 2006.

Survivors include his son, Michael Harrison and his wife, Tami of Owensboro; a granddaughter, Emily Harrison; a brother, Floyd Harrison of Lancaster, CA.

Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with entombment at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
