Ronald Phillip Beals

Ronald Phillip Beals, 61, of Owensboro died Thursday April 12, 2018 at his home. Mr. Beals was born July 20, 1956 in Brawley, California to Greta Cook Beals and the late Ronald E. Beals who preceded him in death exactly one year ago to the day. Ron had a witty personality and was enjoying his retirement from working as a delivery driver for Danco Distribution. He enjoyed participating in a bowling league, playing bingo, pool, and chess. For entertainment, Ron liked watching movies. He was an avid San Diego Chargers fan until they moved to LA and then he became a UK basketball fan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Greta Beals; sisters, Robin Donahue, Cheri Travis and husband Mike all of Owensboro and Maria Scott of Beaver Dam; brother, Michael Beals also of Owensboro; nephew, Marcus Donahue; niece Tiffany Lester and husband Samuel; great nephew, Elijah Lester; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Services will be noon Monday, April 16 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 till 6:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 am till noon. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
