Ron Russell

Ron Russell, 77, of Owensboro, died January 7, 2016. Mr. Russell was born March 16, 1938 in Washington, D.C. to the late Wayne and Mary Ingram Russell. He was known as a very compassionate man who loved helping others. Mr. Russell found much enjoyment in riding motorcycles and attending cross country rallies. He was an accomplished photographer through which he expressed his love of nature and mankind.

Mr. Russell was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Russell and a step-daughter, Melissa Russell.

Survivors include son, Sam Russell and his wife, Shannon, of Lewisville, TX; long-time companion, Lou Wade of Greenville, KY; sister, Linda Hall of Lexington, KY; and niece, Cindy Hall.

The service will be 12:00 noon, Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Myke Templeton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till time of service.
