February 7, 1926 — June 15, 2002
Rollie Edward Norris, Jr., 76, of Owensboro died Saturday, June 15, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Whitesville native was a retired salesman. He was a member of the Whitesville Baptist Church; was a avid UK sports fan, loved spending time with his family; and was a World War II veteran of the Army. He was a graduate of the Lexington Business College.
He is survived by a brother, Louis Norris of Owensboro and two sisters, Charlotte Jones and Nancy Howard both of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 1 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 10 A.M. on Tuesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Whitesville Baptist Church.
