Roger G. Williams

Roger G. Williams, 61, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, June 19, 2006 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Logan County on August 17, 1944, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Elzie G. and Lucille Williams. He worked for Owensboro Parks and Recreation and loved NASCAR, Kentucky basketball, fishing, bingo, and country music.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Kevin Miller of Owensboro; Tracys mother, Katherine Williams; grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Miller, Ashley Marie Miller, and Matthew Douglas Miller; a brother, David Williams of Owensboro, and sisters, Elaine Thompson and Darlene Snyder and her husband Glenn of Owensboro; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services are 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home, Bro. Joey Snyder officiating, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday.
