Robin Glenn Lewis, 70, of Owensboro, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, September 16, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, on October 27, 1954, to the late Elmer and Connie Marie Lewis.
A private person by nature, Robin was known to his family and friends as a good father and a hard worker. In his professional life, Robin spent the past ten years as a dedicated grain inspector at Barton Grain. In his free time, Robin possessed a passion for music that flourished throughout his life. A talented musician, he played guitar in many bands, allowing his love for music to forge connections with others and bringing joy to those around him.
In addition to his parents, Robin is preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lewis Swiney; niece, Maleasha Lewis Cantrell; and nephew, Aaron David Lewis.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Robin Brandon Lewis and Jordan Lewis; brother, Jackie Lewis (Ginger) of Elkhorn City, KY; sister, Betty Sanders (Mitchell) of Fordsville, KY; the mother of his children, Mary Delaine Johnson; nieces, Dawn Holton, Joy Hawkins, Candy Addington, Tina Sayers and Melissa Carr; and nephews, Jared Sanders, Brad Layne, Nathan Lewis, Greg Swiney and Will Swiney.
