Robert D. Westerfield

Robert D. Bob Westerfield, 65, of 1513 Hill Avenue, Owensboro, died Friday, November 16, 2001 at his home. He was born May 7, 1936 in Daviess County, Kentucky the son of Harlan and Ruby Mae Wedding Westerfield.

Mr. Westerfield was an electrician with International Brotherhood Local # 58. He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, David Robert Westerfield of Glenview, IL and Scott Gerald Westerfield of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Peter Westerfield and Sarah Westerfield; one brother, Kenneth Westerfield of Whitesville, KY; two sisters, Wilma Howard and Judy Stefanopoulos, both of Owensboro; one step-sister, Jean McCarty of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2001 at Immaculate Catholic Church, officiated by Father Timothy Sweeney and Father Edward Bradley. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. His family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Monday. Prayers will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
