Robert Lynn Stroud

Robert Lynn "Bob" Stroud, 76, of Owensboro, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Centertown to the late Byron and Eva (Heflin) Stroud. He was a member of Third Baptist Church, and loved to fish. Two brothers, Charles and Carson Stroud also preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Patsy (Roeder) Stroud, a daughter Debbie (Rodney) Ray, two grandsons, Lucas Ray, Jacob Ray and wife Cassidy, and their daughter, Harper, and a sister, Ruth Brigance, all of Owensboro.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 17, 2011, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with a memorial service at 5 p.m. Thursday. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
