Robert E. "Bobby" Stevens

Robert E. "Bobby" Stevens, Jr., 69, of Falls of Rough, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green. He was born December 10, 1947 in Daviess Co. to the late Robert E. and IdaBelle Johnson Stevens, Sr. Bobby was retired after 24 years as a maintenance mechanic with Big Rivers Electric. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in Germany and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting fishing, NASCAR, and woodworking, having worked as a carpenter also. He loved, most of all, living at Rough River and spending time on the lake with family and friends. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Zander Gage Spencer in 2010 and a sister, Brenda Sue Stevens Bullington on November 4, 1984.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Patricia "Patty" Stevens, two daughters, Amy Stevens Spencer of Maceo and April Stevens Harris of Germany, two sons, Robert E. Stevens III and Mark Stevens, both of Florida, two grandchildren, Taylor and Mallerie Willis, both of Texas, and two brothers, James W. (Judy) Stevens of Calhoun and Dennis L. (Sandra) Stevens of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 21, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 8:30 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
