Robert Bruce Robertson

Robert Bruce Robertson, born December 28, 1944, in Owensboro, KY, went to be with his heavenly father August 6, 2026.

Bruce, as he was known, served in the Navy from 1962 – 1969. Upon returning home, he traveled from coast to coast before settling down in Whitesville, KY. Once settled, he became the father of three beautiful children.

Those that knew Bruce knew he had a love for cooking and was famous for his whole wheat breads and pimento cheese (his mother’s recipe). His other joys were living in the country, watching football and grilling with his son, Kris.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Clifford and Louise (Harden) Robertson; and brothers, Jimmy Robertson and Fred Robertson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Kristina Knoll (Michael) and Katherine Jennex (Andrea); son, Robert “Kris” Robertson; grandchildren, Jack, Benjamin and Layla; brother, Alan Robertson; sister, Caroline Panagos; along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
