Robert Lee "Buddy" Ray

Robert Lee "Buddy" Ray, 80, of Owensboro went to be home with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from Owensboro Regional Health Hospital. Born in Owensboro, he graduated from Owensboro Technical High School. Mr. Ray spent his career as an over the road truck driver and attended Grace Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Edith Fulkerson Ray; a son Ricky Ray; and his sister Barbara Bates.
Mr. Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Ray; his sons Randy Ray (Lisa) of Somerset and Robert D. Ray of Owensboro; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Ray, of Owensboro; his grandchildren Chad Ray, Nathaniel Ray, and Carissa James, all of Owensboro, Cory Ray of Roanoke, VA, and Branson Ray of Somerset; six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Johnny Ray of Owensboro.
A service of remembrance will be 5:00 P.M. Monday at Grace Chapel. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with care. Memories of Robert Lee Ray may be shared at glenncares.com.
