Robert Lee Ray

Mr. Robert Lee Ray, 80, of 5051 Newbolt Road, Owensboro, died, Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was retired from Martin Marietta and had also worked in the oil fields and was a farmer. He loved to hunt, fish and garden and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Martha Ruth Cummings Ray; a brother, James Ray of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 1 :00 P.M. Friday at the Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Friday. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson on Saturday, September 29, 2001. Graveside services will be at 2 P.M. following visitation in the cemetery chapel from 1-2 P.M..
