Robert A. Perry

Robert A. Bob Perry, 63, of 2835 Hillside Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was borin Salem, Il. To the late Claude & Aleine Johnson Perry. He was retired from Ashland Pipeline Co. after 30 years. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed carpentry and working with wood and making things. He loved life, helping others, and spending time with his family. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Jean Miller Perry on Dec. 28, 2000.

Surviving is his wife of three years, Jane Simpson Perry, a daughter and husband, Melissa & Brian Gottman of Owensville, In., two sons and their wives, Michael & Karen Perry of Indianapolis, In., and Mark & Pam Perry of Plainfield, In., a stepson & wife, Jamie & Lisa Simpson of Owensboro, and a stepdaughter, Jana Simpson of Columbus, Oh., a brother & wife, Jack & Nancy Perry of Symsonia, Ky., and a sister, Pat Morsy of Owensboro,, and seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn & Meaghan Perry, Cassie Perry, Theron & Sonya Parham, and Cody & Aaron Gottman, and three step grandchildren, Betty Jane, Teri, and Amanda Simpson.

Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, October 16, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday and after Noon Sunday at the funeral home.
