Robert Daniel Payne

Robert Daniel Payne, 36, of Owensboro died Monday, March 1, 2004 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. The Daviess County native was of the Catholic faith, a graduated of Owensboro Catholic High School and was self-employed. He enjoyed fishing, camping with family and working with computers. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Payne and grandparents William Z. and Henrietta Haynes and E.G. and Bernadine Payne.

He is survived by two children, Robert Daniel Payne, Jr. and Caitlin Renee Payne both of Owensboro; his parents, Daniel and Rose Ann Payne of Owensboro; a brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Gina Payne of Nashville; a sister, Carla Payne of Owensboro; and a sister and brother-in-law, Kristi and Jeremy Davidson of Nashville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, from 10-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Robbie and Caitlin Payne Education Fund.
