Robert Allen Patton, Sr.

Robert Allen Patton, Sr., 66, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born March 20, 1952 in Daviess Co. to the late Henry Fields and Mary Cecelia Payne Patton. Robert had been a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed racing stock cars at Kentucky Motor Speedway, watching Nascar, and working on and building race cars. Robert also enjoyed shooting pool and had won several pool tournaments, was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Robert was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Yvonne Patton in 1971, a cousin, Larry Coomes in 1976, and a niece, Amy Sparks in 2016.

Surviving are the love of his life of 47 years, wife Martha Feldpausch Patton, a daughter, Shelly White and husband Rocky of Owensboro, a son, Robert Allen "Bobby" Patton, Jr. of Owensboro, four grandchildren, Thomas Allen (Sarah) White, Rocky White, Jr., Joshua White, and Aaden Allen Patton, all of Owensboro, a brother, David (Mary) Patton of Masonville, a sister, Patty "Trish" Fitzgerald and husband Carl, S r. of Owensboro, numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends, Sam and Dallas Stallings, both of Owensboro.

Services will be Noon Saturday, May 5, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
