Robert Preston OBryan, Jr., 60, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007, at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on February 16, 1946 to Bob and Betty OBryan. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. Bob was a self-employed electrical contractor and for the past 25 years was the owner of I.E.C. Electric Co. He enjoyed drag racing, and restoring Ford Mustangs, and sharing his knowledge and experience about them. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert P. OBryan, Sr. in July 2004.

Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Mary Lou (Keller) OBryan, his son, Matthew L. OBryan, his daughter, Jennifer OBryan Thompson and her husband Kevin, and granddaughter, Leah Marie Thompson, all of Owensboro. Survivors also include his mother, Frances Elizabeth (Betty) OBryan of Owensboro, two sisters, Jeanette (Charlie) Ebelhar of Owensboro, Mary Beth (Tim) Carrico of Carenco, La., two brothers, Ray (Bonita) OBryan of Edina, Mn., and Pat (Theresa) OBryan of Owensboro, his in-laws, Genevieve (Dick) Boarman, Rose Bernadette Keller, Sue (Bryce) Roberts, Marie (Gerald) Wedding, Rose Mary (Ben) Thompson, Sister Martha Keller, O.S.U., all of Daviess Co., Ky., Margaret (Neil) Kallman of Indianapolis, In., Fred (Martha) Keller, Frank (Joy) Keller, Earl (Anna) Keller, Raymond (Lisa) Keller, all of Daviess Co., and Leroy (Joyce) Keller of Ferdinand, In.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, at St. Paul Catholic Church with entombment in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
