Robert Henning Lanham, 73 of 2031 Wyandotte Ave., Owensboro, died Tuesday June 12, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born December 9, 1927 in Dickson, TN, he was the son of the late Charles Thomas Lanham and Mary Sue Henning.
Retired after 50 years from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local # 1701 as a Journeyman Electrician. He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Dolores Howard Lanham; two daughters, Jeanette Stewart of Crestview Hills, KY; Suzanne Lanham of Pegram, TN; three grandsons; one step-grandson; one brother, Joseph Skip Lanham of Florissant, MO; one aunt; one uncle; seven nephews and several cousins.
Funeral service for Mr. Lanham will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 16, 2001 at Immaculate Catholic Church, officiated by Father Tim Sweeney. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday June 15, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Prayers will be said 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
