Robert N. Krampe

June 24, 1929 — August 30, 2003

Robert N. Jack Krampe, 74, of 6018 Todd Bridge Rd., Owensboro, died Saturday, August 30, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a retired farmer, had worked as a substitute bus driver for the Daviess County Schools, and worked in the Tobacco Warehouses for many years. He was a member of the St. Martin Catholic Church; had served as a Farm Services Administration Committee member; and was on the Southern States Board for one term. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Krampe was preceded in death by his parents, Leo B. and Rose Wink Krampe; and a sister, Edna Fulkerson.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Helen Zoglmann Krampe; a daughter and son-in-law, Leesa and Rick Moman; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Sue Krampe of Masonville, and Mark and Kim Krampe and Keith and Sherry Krampe of Owensboro; eight grandchildren, Austin Moman, Emily Krampe, Nicholas Krampe, Rachel Krampe, Kelby Krampe, Christopher Krampe, Allison Krampe, and Samantha Krampe; two brothers, Edward Krampe and Gene Krampe both of Owensboro; and two sisters, Margaret Stewart and Helen Rose Smith both of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, September 1, 2003 at St. Martin Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Glenn Funeral Home from 3-8 P.M. on Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. on Monday. Prayers will be 7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
