Robert Eugene Jones, Sr., 68, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville. Born February 14, 1940, Mr. Jones was the son of the late Charles and Lorene Hall Jones; had worked at Owensboro Brick and Tile Company for over 20 years; and enjoyed watching westerns.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eunice Adkins Jones; sons, Robert E. Jones, Jr., and William Jones both of Owensboro; daughters, Bobbie Jones, Rebecca Jones, and Jennifer Coleman all of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services are private with Glenn Funeral Home handling arrangements. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
