Robert C. Johnson

Robert Cornellius "Bootsie" Johnson, 45, of 732 Kentucky Parkway , Owensboro, died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at his residence. He was born September 26, 1959, to Juanita and the late William "Bootsie" Johnson in Daviess County. Robert was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, loved playing chess, reading and loved all his family.

He was preceded in death by his Father, William Edward, Bootsie" Winstead; and his grandmother, Fannie Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Peggy Sue Johnson; one son, Cornellius Leon Johnson; two daughters, Tonia Pate and Tina Johnson, all of Owensboro; his mother, Juanita Johnson of Owensboro; three brothers, Larry Winstead and Darnell Johnson, both of Owensboro, Jerry Winstead of Louisville; four sisters, Julia Lewis, Latonia Winstead, Lavinna Palmer and Bonnie Winstead, all of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Hannah Whitehouse, Bryonna Johnson, Dale Adams, Sennan Adams and Jarius Webb.
