Robert L. Izsak, 56, of 2511 OBryan Blvd., Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at his home. He was born in Highland, Il. To the late Joseph & Mary G. Morris Izsak. He was retired from Phillip-Morris and had been attending Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was a Ky. Colonel and a U. S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War and remained a very patriotic man. He was very devoted to his family, was an avid sports fan having coached baseball at Southern Little League and Our Lady of Lourdes. He also was preceded in death by a nephew, Jacob Izsak in 1999.
Surviving is his son, Chad Izsak of Owensboro, a sister, Mary Jo Kelly of Bowling Green, Ky., a brother, Tony Izsak of Owensboro, his stepfather, Marvon Spencer of Owensboro, a niece, Caprice Steward of Bowling Green, and a nephew, Jesse Izsak of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
